Biography:

From early childhood, she traveled throughout the Alpha quadrant with her parents.  Her father's career led the family on many explorations.  The death of her mother Honan when she was 9 hindered her father's ability to go on as a government official for a short time.  Allissia and her father Mayland mourned together over her death and became very close because of it. 

He went on to become a great government official once again, but was killed while attempting to negotiate a treaty between two factions on their home world Halli.  After recovering from another devastating moment in her life, she decided to leave Halli and explore the galaxy like she did with her parents so long ago.  She has fond memories of their voyages and felt at home in the stars. 

She applied to Star Fleet and was accepted.  She studied very hard and excelled quite well in Stellar Cartography.  After graduating from the academy, she requested the USS Saturn because she knew Danik, an old friend, was to be posted there.  Lt. Commander Anderson accepted her application.
