Several years went by and Aaron was still the top businessman on the
outpost, so much in fact that the Ferengi honored him with their highest
award for a new business owner. A lot was going on in this sector of space,
Klingons were attaching Ferengi out post’s all over this sector, and general
alert was given to any and all out laying outpost’s. When word got back
to the out post of a Klingon raid that was made to a nearby Star Base,
the people began to pull up stakes and run. Aaron did not come this far
to run now, so he was intent on staying and see what would happen.
A few months went by and the out post was almost a ghost town, Aaron's business dropped off rather fast with the news of the Klingons in the area. Then late one night after Aaron had closed for the evening the out post was hit hard by disrupter fire, hearing the alarms sounding and seeing fires break out all over the outpost, Aaron ran to one of the windows that over looked the docking area, and saw two Klingon bird’s of prey firing on the outpost. His old boss was running hold a large bag, Aaron stopped him and asked where he was going, the little Ferengi told Aaron that he was heading to a escape shuttle, a group of others were going to meet at some other location and take a ship back to the Ferengi home world. Aaron tried to tell the Ferengi that if they launch that shuttle the Klingons would fire on them. The Ferengi did not care, he stated its better to run then die. But Aaron said, well dieing is what’s going to happen if you get on that shuttle. The Ferengi just brushed him off and hurried to where the shuttle was. Aaron could not believe what was going on, he decided to go back to his quarters and get his disrupter pistol that he bought from a pawn shop and few months back and defend his Bar. Aaron watched as the shuttle the Ferengi boarded launch, and was almost
hit with disrupter fire immediately after take off, the bright light from
the burning ship hurt Aaron's eyes as he watch the ship break into many
different pieces. Running to his bar, the outpost was hit again with more
fire from the Klingons disruptors, knocking Aaron down. Getting to his
bar, Aaron locked himself inside with his pistol in hand ready for anything.
Hearing the automated voice come over the speaker system that there was
an intruder alert, Aaron knew that he was in for a fight.
The Klingons made their way wreaking anything in sight, killing all
the Ferengi that were still on the outpost. Hearing the screams of the
Ferengi that were being killed and the laughing of the Klingons, Aaron
was scared out of his mind. Three Klingons made there way to Aaron's bar,
breaking in the front door, Aaron Jumped out from behind the counter and
fired a shot, hitting the first Klingon right in the chest. The other two
Klingons yelled in there native tongue, and more came running to the bar,
Aaron let out another few blasts with his pistol. Then one of the Klingons
threw in a small round ball, at first Aaron did not think much of it, until
it started to spray out a white cloud of gas, covering his mouth and nose
and trying not to breath, Aaron made his way to the back of the bar to
get away from the gas, but the Klingons threw more of the balls inside.
Aaron began to feel light headed and not wanting to fall into there hands
with out taking a few of them with his, fired his pistol one more time
only hitting the wall, then everything went black.
Waking up in a foul smelling room, Aaron's head pounded. Sitting up,
he could tell that he was not on the outpost any longer. Standing, he tried
to open the door, but it was locked. Then the door opened, three very big
Klingons walked in. grabbing Aaron they pushed him onto the cot that was
in the room. The first Klingon approached Aaron and spoke to him in Klingon,
when Aaron did not respond; the Klingon backhanded him across the face.
Picking him up again the Klingon spoke to him again, and once again Aaron
did not respond but before the Klingon could strike him again another Klingon
stopped him, and sent the other one out of the room. The Big Klingon got
real close to Aaron and asked in a language that he understood if he was
human, Aaron told the officer that he was not human. Smiling, good said
the Klingon; we need you to work in our galley you killed our cook with
your little stunt back at the outpost.
For the next 60 years, Aaron worked as a cook in the Klingon Empire, moving from just being a slave to the best cook in the Empire; Aaron made a name for himself. But after the Klingon moon of Praxis was destroyed the Klingon Empire only had a few years left before they would not longer be able to maintain a Space Fleet. Serving onboard the Empires’ flagship under the Ambassador who signed the Khitomer treaty Aaron was able to see a long-standing feud come to an end. With the Klingons and the Federation no longer at war, Aaron was free to leave the Empire. Many years later at the beginning of the Dominion war, Aaron joined
the Marquise as a recruiting officer, where he heard about a young doctor
named Jacob Storm. Being able to read people as well as he can, Aaron knew
this person would fit right in with the Marquise. After meeting with Capt.
Chakotay to discuss this young doctor, Aaron was set out to make contact
with him and bring the doctor to Chakotay. Upon doing so, the young doctor
joined with them. Serving 5 years with the doctor, they became good friends,
and now that he is in Star Fleet and the Marquise are no longer a threat,
Aaron is able to start his life over one more time. But this time it will
be different, after applying for a permit with Star Fleet for a bar and
grill aboard a starship Aaron came across Lt. Cmdr Steven Anderson, and
after talking with this young Lt.Cmdr Aaron was granted permission to open
his bar and grill aboard the newly commissioned USS Saturn. Knowing that
his old friend Dr. Jacob Storm was aboard he felt that it would be just
like old times, he and his friend charging off into the unknown.
